Phil is a vital link to the heyday of Hollywood. The audience eats it up!

Phil Crosby Jr. is a performing artist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and jazz bandleader. He’s been appearing in film, television, and onstage for most of his life. Phil started in entertainment at the age of eight, appearing on television, and as a young man sang and played blues harmonica with a rock and roll band in Hollywood and greater Los Angeles.

He then traveled the world learning guitar, ukulele, and world percussion; studied light opera and chorale singing; and finally followed in his famous family’s legacy, stepping into American popular song and jazz music! Phil’s paternal grandfather is the Hollywood icon, legendary singer, and Academy Award winning movie star, Bing Crosby. Phil’s father and uncles performed in Las Vegas showrooms and starred in films with Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Phil Sr. also toured with Bob Hope's U.S.O. during the Vietnam war.

Since then he has taken on the mantle of three generations of entertainment. Phil has dedicated himself to promoting the arts, and honoring his family’s part of the great American songbooks’ storied history by sharing his love for jazz music, the standards, and American song. He considers it an honor to keep alive the tradition of the ‘jazz crooner’ and the elegance and sophistication that lives on in our memory of the golden age of American film, the Broadway stage, television and music.

Based in Los Angeles, Phil currently performs with jazz & swing combos as well as big bands around the world. He also produces his own cabaret events, variety shows, and a much loved Christmas show. Phil hopes to continue to honor his grandfather's legacy as well as inspire younger audiences and artists to embrace the 20th century’s, and America’s, greatest contributions to the world — the American songbook, classic cinema, jazz and blues and all Americana!
